Frequently Asked Questions

What material are the plant pots made of?

Our raw material is a mixture of various types of purple clay and red clay. They contain a large amount of iron elements and become coarse pottery plant pots after being fired at high temperatures of 1200 degrees Celsius in the kiln. We do not apply any chemical coatings to the pots, so their water and air permeability is excellent. Moreover, the high temperature firing makes them more sturdy and durable than ordinary clay planters.

Do the planters have drainage holes?

Yes, all our planters have drainage holes.

What if the product is found to be damaged upon arrival?

Please immediately take photos of the package and the damaged product, and contact our email at support@claywares.ca. We will address your case as a priority and resend the product to you free of charge.

I live in Vancouver - can I stop by your store?

We are completely online and don't have a brick and mortar storefront (yet!), so all of our orders are fulfilled via mail. However, we also offer local pickup services. The pickup location is at Metrotown Station, Burnaby, BC.

Do you offer wholesale options?

Yes, if you order at least 100 pots in total, please contact us. We will provide wholesale pricing and inform you about the available shipping methods, related costs, and payment options. Currently, our products can be shipped to Asia, America, Europe, and Australia. However, shipping costs may vary depending on the destination.
